Speaking to reporters, AMRPSWA president L Joy Khuman said the seminar was convened amid growing concern over irregularities witnessed in the State's major public examinations - Class X (HSLC) and Class XII (HSE) - which could adversely affect the future of students.
He added that the seminar, divided into five sub-themes, seeks to identify the root causes of these irregularities and formulate steps to make examinations more credible and effective.
Recommendations emerging from the seminar will be placed in the public domain for discourse before final resolutions are submitted to the authorities and stakeholders for implementation, Khuman said.
