Imphal, May 24 2025: A 2-day "Non violence training programme" organised by the Regional Fellowship of Peace began today at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.

The programme was graced by dignitaries, including Regional Fellowship of Peace president Sanabam Raghumani, senior journalist Yambem Laba, Dr B Deben Sharma and Dr N Rajmuhon, former Vice Chancellor of DM University.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanabam Raghumani said that violence in society is a prevalent issue, affecting individuals of all ages and genders.

He asserted that many incidents of violence are reported daily, including domestic violence, bullying in schools, and violent crimes.

He also stressed on the need to fundamentally shift the approach to addressing various conflicts and problems, emphasizing peaceful solutions and constructive dialogue over violence or coercion.
