SBI provides e-rickshaw to Kakching District Traffic Police

Kakching, December 23 2025: The State Bank of India (SBI) on Tuesday presented an e-rick-shaw to the Kakching District Traffic Police to support their day-to-day operations and commuting requirements.

The handover ceremony held at the SP Kakching Office Complex, was attended by Chingkham Bikram, Chief Manager, DVAS, Regional Business Office Imphal West; Kshetrimayum Rajeshwar, Branch Manager of SBI Kakching; and Kenedy Ningthoujam, RM TXB, Regional Business, Imphal West, among others.

Speaking on the occasion, SP Kakching Priyadarshini Laishram said that Kakching District Traffic Police, led by Traffic Police in-charge and Addl SP (LO) Loitongbam Shankerjit, has been working diligently to serve the public.

She express appreciation for SBI's gesture in acknowledging the efforts of the traffic police by providing the e-rickshaw.

She added that the e-rickshaw would significantly benefit the Kakching District Traffic Police by easing their commuting needs and assisting them in various operational activities, helping to reduce inconveniences faced during the course of duty to a considerable extent.
