Agartala, June 21 2025: The Rajarshi Bhagyachandra Cultural Foundation Manipur in collaboration with The Literary and Cultural Organisation, Tripura observed the 285th birth anniversary of Rajarshi Bhagyachandra today at Radha Madhav Debata Bari at Radhanagar in Agartala, Tripura.

The ceremony was accompanied by a symposium and cultural program.

The gathering paid a floral tribute on the memorial bust of Rajarshi Bhagyachandra.

Speaking on the occasion, T Irabot, spokesperson of the Foundation said that the ceremony was made possible with the added help of Manipur Sahitya Parishad, Marup Patrika, Lamyanba Socio Cultural Organisation Tripura, Manipur Literary and Cultural Forum, Radha Madhav Manipuri Yuva Samaj Samiti and Sijagurumayum Abhijeet Sharma among others.

He further said that the 285th birth anniversary of Rajarshi Bhagyachandra is being observed at three locations, namely, Radha Madhav (Tripura), Imphal (Manipur) and Bangladesh.
