LFS felicitates HSLC toppers; students urged to choose own path

Imphal, May 20 2026: Little Flower School, Imphal on Wednesday felicitated its students who secured high marks in this year's HSLC Examination conducted by BOSEM.

The school presented cash awards and encouraged the meritorious students at a function held on the campus.

Additional Director, Education (S/Valley), Bisheshwar Khumukcham attended as chief guest.

Addressing the gathering, he said the Class X examination is one of the most important milestones in life and marks the "first real test" for students.

Cautioning against complacency, he added, "In this age of competition, scoring high marks in Class X alone will not make you successful if you stop working hard later.

You must keep striving to become successful individuals" .

Khumukcham said students will enter various conventional and non-conventional fields in the future.

On career choices, he advised students not to blindly follow paths suggested by teachers or parents.

"Teachers and parents will guide you and you should take their advice.

But the final decision must be your own.

Only you know the path you want to walk.

So work toward your own dreams", he said.

He reminded students that success is part of life's journey, not its destination, and urged them never to forget their teachers.

He also asked teachers to continue guiding students.

LFS Superior Sr Rose Mary Adaphro, Head Mistress Sr Mercy Gangmei, members of the LFS Past Pupils Association, teachers, and parents also took part in the programme.
