Thoubal, December 18 2024: The United Committee of Manipur (UCM) today opened its new unit at Charangpat under Thoubal district.

The opening of UCM unit held at Charangpat Mamang Maisnam Kangjeibung Community Hall was attended by YK Dhiren, president of United Committee Manipur (UCM), Chongtham Memton, president of Bengi Apunba Meira Paibee and Oinam Madhabi, president of Women Welfare Association, Charangpat as presidium members, said a release issued by United Committee Manipur.

Altogether, 15 persons were elected as office bearers of the Charangpat Unit including Sairem Manglemba as chairman, Nahakpam Dijen as vice-chairman and Moirangthem Maipak as general secretary.
