Defence Services Officers make new appointments

Imphal, September 18 2025: The Defence Services Officers Institute (DSOI), Imphal has appointed Brigadier L Ibotombi Singh as its president and Colonel N Nabakishwar Singh and Colonel Shantikumar Sapam as secretary and treasurer respectively.

The DSOI also named seven executive members viz H Gojendro Singh, Colonel T Robindro Sharma, Group Captain Binoy Chongtham, Colonel Gopen Puyam, Captain (IN) L Devdutta Sharma, Lieutenant Colonel Oinam Keirungba and Squadron Leader Thounaojam Vimita with retired Lieutenant General K Himalay Singh serving as advisor to the executive committee, In a statement, DSOI, Imphal stated that it aims to serve as a central hub for serving and retired defence officers and their families of Manipur, providing them with welfare, social, recreational, and mess facilities.
