Justice Committee on Anglo-Manipur War 1891 opens Tripura Branch

Imphal, January 18 2026: A new branch of the Justice Committee on Anglo-Manipur War 1891 Martyrs and Freedom Fighters of Kangleipak was inaugurated today at Tripura in a simple ceremony.

During the programme, the chairman of Justice Committee Joychandra Konthoujam administered the oath of office to the newly appointed 30 office bearers of the Tripura branch in the name of Ibudhou Pakhangba.

The office bearers of the Tripura branch include Kshetrimayum Dhanajit Singh as president; Sinam Deepak Kumar as advisor; P Sanjoy Singh as general secretary, Elangbam Sanjoy Singh as organisation secretary and L Nilkamal as finance secretary, among others.

The event was attended by Deepak Kumar Singha, secretary of the National Youth Project Tripura State Council and Puthiba Welfare and Cultural Society; Justice Committee advisor Luwangcha Chingkhei; IPSA vice-president W Guneshr, and other eminent personalities.
