Imphal, January 16 2026: The Capping and Oath Taking Ceremony of 1st batch GNM students of ILDS Nursing Institute was held on Friday.

Additionally, Fresher Meet 2025-26 of the institute was also conducted.

The ceremony held at the institute in Kwakeithel Heinoukhongnembi, was graced by dignitaries, including Somorjit Salam, Special Secretary (Health and Family Welfare), Manipur; Dr Nongthombam Suraj Kumar, Director, ILDS Hospital & Nursing Institute; Dr Aribam Vijaya Devi, Managing Director, ILDS Hospital and Chairman, ILDS Nursing Institute; Prof Thoudam Nandarani Devi, National Vice President, TNAI, North East Region; Dr Aribam Jamuna Devi, Registrar, Manipur Nursing Council; and Dr Ningthoujam Surkanta Meitei, Medical Superintendent, ILDS Hospital.
