Dengue cases breach last year's total

Imphal, October 14 2025: With 92 Dengue cases reported in the past 24 hours, the total number of cases in Manipur has reached 2,477, surpassing last year's figure of 2,443 cases.

Of these, Imphal West reported the highest with 61 cases, followed by Imphal East (23), Bishnupur (3), Thoubal (1), Tamenglong (3), and Kangpokpi (1) .

So far, Imphal West has reported 1778 Dengue cases this year which accounts for 71.78 per cent.

Apart from Jiribam and Pherzawl, all other districts have reported Dengue cases viz Imphal West (1778), Imphal East (396), Bishnupur (72), Thoubal (64), Senapati (45), Kakching (41), Ukhrul (24), Chandel (17), Tamenglong (12), Tengnoupal (9), Kamjong (8), Noney (6), Churachandpur (3) and Kangpokpi (2) .

One Dengue related death was confirmed in Bishnupur earlier this year.
