College Week 2025 commences at JMC

Noney, October 13 2025: The celebration of College Week 2025 officially commenced today at Jadonang Memorial College (JMC) Longmai-3, Noney District HQ under the theme "Towards a Better Future-Celebrating Talent, Unity & Growth" .

The week-long program is being organized by the Jadonang Memorial College Students' Union (JMCSU) in collaboration with Jadonang Memorial College Sports & Cultural Committee.

The inaugural programme was graced by HL Christian Home, AC to DC, SDO Haochong & Longmai as the chief guest; Dr Benjamin Gangmei, Associate Professor, United College, Chandel & GB Member, JMC as the guest of honour and Kasaigai Gangmei, Chairman, Longmai Village Authority as the functional president.

The event began with a felicitation of the guests by JMCSU, followed by a welcome address delivered by Dr Rimmei Riamei, Principal of Jadonang Memorial College.

The chief guest performed the ceremonial lighting of the torch and flag hoisting, thus marking the symbolic opening of JMC College Week.

The oath-taking ceremony for the College Week 2025 was led by the Sports Secretary.

The event also featured vibrant cultural performances, including traditional dances and songs presented by JMC students.
