Imphal, October 11 2025:
Informing that the Manipur Human Rights Commission (MHRC) has referred the case of Khusi Sanjenbam (12) to an independent State enquiry committee, RIMS Imphal has appealed to the public, social media channels and concerned parties not to circulate unfounded information or make comments, as such actions may affect the morale of medical staff and the institute would be forced to take legal actions against these unfounded allegations.
The RIMS authority conducted an internal enquiry into the demise of Khusi Sanjenbam and the internal enquiry report has been submitted to the MHRC.
While the family of the deceased has expressed concerns that the report reflected a one-sided perspective, RIMS authority has clarified that the internal enquiry was conducted thoroughly and in accordance with standard medical protocols.
Now the MHRC has referred the matter to an independent State enquiry committee for further examination, said a press release issued by the RIMS Media Cell.
It said that RIMS Imphal remains committed to transparency, patient safety and upholding professional medical standards.
