Imphal, August 11 2025: In connection with the 13 th foundation day of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Bishnupur District Branch, a voluntary blood donation camp was organised today at the Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS Imphal.

The camp was held under the supervision of Bishnupur DC Pooja Elangbam, who also served as president of the IRCS Bishnupur District Branch, and Dr Wahengbam Gulapa, chairman of the IRCS Bishnupur.

The event was jointly organised by the Indian Red Cross Society, Bishnupur District Branch, in collabora tion with the Youth's Unity Strength Ishok, New Life Foundation (NLF) Manipur, People's Resource Development Association Bishnupur, Chhayatap Foundation, Department of Transfusion Medicine RIMS, NHM, MACS and SBTC Manipur.

The event was attended by the Department of Transfusion Medicine RIMS, Prof Dr Barindra Sharma; Programme Coordinator Kh Shanta; IRCS Manipur State Branch, State Coordinator Th Gautam; NLF Manipur PRO Sanasam Rebika; and IRCS Bishnupur District Branch, secretary Dr Huidrom Romen.

A number of blood donors came forward to donate during the camp.
