Moirang, May 10 2021: MLA P Sharatchandra Singh extended monetary support to COVID-19 Protection Committee Phubala at Phubala Awang Market Shed today.

The financial assistance of Rs 5000 was handed over to aid members of the committee in recognition of the work they are doing to fight the second wave of the pandemic.

MLA P Sharatchandra Singh said the second wave of the pandemic was deadlier and spread faster than the first wave and the need to observe all SOP in order safe ourselves and others around us from the virus is more important than ever.

He deliberated the need to maintain social distancing, washing hands frequently, using a hand | sanitizer and using mask.
