Riflewomen inspire youth during AR community outreach in Molcham village

Chandel, November 09 2025: Assam Rifles, organised "A Day with Riflewoman" at Molcham Village in Chandel District with the aim of inspiring local youth and fostering a deeper bond between the Force and the community.

According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), the event began with Riflewomen sharing their personal journeys into the Assam Rifles, narrating experiences that reflected their courage, determination and unwavering commitment to the nation.

Their stories resonated strongly with the children of Molcham, instilling in them a sense of purpose and encouraging them to pursue their aspirations with discipline and dedication.

Following the interaction, students were taken on a guided tour of the barracks, offering them a glimpse into the structured and disciplined lifestyle of the Riflewomen.

The children were also given the opportunity to explore and handle military gear, which sparked curiosity and admiration for the life of service.

A friendly sports match between the children and Riflewomen added a joyful and engaging dimension to the day, promoting camaraderie and mutual respect.

The event concluded with a community lunch, where students and soldiers shared warm moments of connection.
