Imphal, May 09 2025: The Wings of Hope Charitable Trust has conducted a general health check up programme for the 35 families and 58 children belonging to widows it has been supporting for 14 months.

The first phase of the health check up was carried out with the support of Urban Health & Wellness Centre at Sana Janmasthan Club, Moirang Ningthou Leirak, Keishamthong, said a press release issued by Lt Col L Manongba (retd), president, Wings of Hope.

Th Mahendra Pratap Singh, retd Chief Conservator of Forest Manipur and president of Sana Janmasthan Club interacted with the widows during the health check up.

Lt Col L Manongba (retd) expressed gratitude to Medical Officer Dr Shi Shi, medical staff of the Urban Health & Wellness Centre as well as the president and Managing Committee of Sana Janmasthan Club.

These 35 families who are unfortunate victims of Manipur mayhem hail from Khumbong, Sanjem Chirang, Khurkhul, Pangei, Itham-Nungoi, Oksu Ningthemcha, Takhel, Salungpham, Kakching Khunou, Pangaltabi and Serou.
