Imphal, August 06 2025: The Court of Special Judge POCSO, Imphal West has remanded 23-year-old Thoungamba Keisham who was arrested on August 2 for allegedly showing obscene pictures to a school-going girl to judicial custody till August 20 .

According to the complaint filed by the victim's father, Thoungamba approached the girl in a four-wheeler vehicle and displayed the explicit content.

The police investigation involved reviewing CCTV footage, which led to identifying the vehicle's owner.

The accused, who worked as a driver for a doctor in Lamboikhongnangkhong area, was subsequently arrested, and the vehicle was seized.

During interrogation, Thoungamba reportedly confessed to the crime, stating he intentionally targeted the girl under the guise of asking for directions.

Following the submission of the Special Public Prosecutor and review of the case records, the Court remanded Thoungamba to judicial custody to facilitate further investigation.
