Workshop on GoI flagship schemes concludes

Tamenglong, September 05 2025: A one-day workshop highlighting key flagship programmes of the Government of India (Gol) concluded at Shekinuh Inn, Tamenglong Hq organised by Mera Yuva Bharat, Tamenglong, under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, GoI .

According to a release issued by Mera Yuva Bharat Tamenglong, the event aimed to raise awareness among youth on key government schemes and promote sports and fitness initiatives.

The workshop saw enthusiastic participation from approximately 80 youths and youth leaders from 32 youth clubs of various localities.

During the programme, the resource persons and special guests, including Tontang, Branch Manager, Canara Bank; Raiding Newme, Field Assistant, Agriculture Dept; and Bonthanlung Gangmei, Inspector of ICDS Project Tamenglong, were felicitated with the traditional Liangmai muffler as a token of respect and appreciation.

The event featured insightful sessions by distinguished resource persons, each focusing on their flagship programme.
