Imphal, October 04 2025: All Manipur Senior Citizens' Welfare Association (AMSCWA), Mongshangei is organising a joint meeting of all civil organisations, NGO(s), societies, association(s), forum(s), working in Manipur for the welfare and health care services of the marginalized senior citizens at the Conference Hall of Manipur State Museum, Imphal on October 9, 2025.As per a release issued by AMSCWA, the meeting will consider the following agenda-Formation of an apex body of all civil organisations and create a common platform to work unitedly as a pressure group; Revive the good old Manipuri tradition of giving respect and care for the parents by sons/wards/children on the one hand, and love and affection of sons/ward/children by the parents; and Create an environment in the society where parents and senior citizens can live with respect, sustainable quality and dignity of life.
