Imphal, May 03 2026: In a significant move under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Xingu Group of Companies has announced new educational support programmes for students in the Langthabal Assembly Constituency.

The Kha-Naorem Leikai-based company began by felicitating Thoihenba Thongam of CC Higher Secondary School yesterday for securing 1 st position in the science stream of HSE 2026 .

To encourage his future studies, the company presented him with a full computer desktop set.

Rakeshor Ningthoujam, Managing Director of the Xingu Group of Companies, said all position holders and toppers from Langthabal AC who clear Class XII will now get a computer set annually.

The group has also instituted the "First Ningthoujam Achouba Memorial Scholarship" .

Fifteen Class XII students from the constituency whose parents are not government employees will be selected through a test.

They will receive a cash scholarship, free coaching, or a free CCC computer course.

Registration is open at www.xingutech.in till May 15, 2026 .

The programme will be held annually.
