4th State-level MTGS competition held successfully across three centres in Manipur

Thoubal, November 02 2025: The 4th State-Level MTGS Competition was successfully conducted across three centres in Manipur, with events held under two categories - Class III to V and Class VI to VIII.

The Thoubal Centre, hosted at Thoubal College, saw enthusiastic participation from around 558 students representing various schools.

During her visit to the Thoubal College examination centre, DI Asem Rebika, MES, from ZEO Zone HI Thoubal, highlighted that the State-Level MTGS Competition was organised especially for students of Government and Aided Schools in Manipur.

The primary objective, she said, was to showcase the talents and academic excellence of these students while promoting a positive educational environment that helps bridge the gap often seen between Government and private institutions.

She further noted that the introduction of the OMR system in this year's competition marks a significant step forward, as it will help Government school students familiarise themselves with modem testing methods used in competitive examinations.

This, she added, would not only help them overcome exam-related fears but also encourage healthy competition and confidence-building among the students.
