Dr Chongtham Monika to participate in Global Young Scientist Summit, Singapore

Dr Chongtham Monika Chanu, a scientist from Manipur, is set to participate in the prestigious Global Young Scientists Summit (GYSS) in Singapore.
The summit, scheduled to be held from January 5 to 9, 2026 at Singapore Management University, is jointly organised by the National Research Foundation (NRF), Singapore; Singapore National University and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) .
The GYSS will bring together bright young researchers and top scientific minds from around the world to discuss science and technology trends, future game changers and how research could address major global challenges.
Notably, Dr Monika, a resident of Sangaiprou FCI Godown, Makha Lampak Maning Leikai completed her Ph.D in "Neuroscience Stress and Depression" at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Germany.
She is also a postdoctoral scientist at the EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne) in Switzerland.
Dr Monika was nominated as a Young Scientist for the GYSS by the university.
At the GYSS, Dr Monika will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and knowledge with distinguished scientists and researchers, contributing her perspective to the international scientific community.
