Imphal, March 31 2026: A five-day 20th Annual Art Exhibition cum Fair 2026 was kicked off today at Imphal Art College, DM Road, near War Cemetery.

The inaugural event was graced by Art & Culture Commissioner H Gyan Prakash as the chief guest; Kongkham Dilipkumar, Principal, Imphal Art College as the functional president; Asem Rangina, Joint Secretary, Art & Culture and G Dharmadas, Joint Director, Art & Culture as the guests of honour.

At the event, floral tributes were offered before the photo of Late Hanjabam Shyamo Sharma.

Ninety students from the College took part in the art exhibition putting up a total of 162 artworks.

Awards were also presented to students with the top artworks.

Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner H Gyan Prakash said that artworks of students for an entire year have been put on display at the exhibition.

Lauding the talented student-artists, the Commissioner also assured to plug any shortcomings at Imphal Art College.
