Mega Manipur School marks 21st Foundation Day

Imphal, May 24 2026: Good schools are essential to produce good citizens and responsible students, said Wangkhei Assembly Constituency MLA Thangjam Arunkumar today.

He was speaking as chief guest at the 21st Foundation Day cum Felicitation Programme 2026 of Mega Manipur School, held at Yairipok, Imphal East.

Arunkumar lauded the school's efforts in nurturing disciplined, patriotic, and responsible students.

He urged teachers to take greater responsibility in shaping quality learners and wished the institution continued growth.

Chairperson of Mega Manipur Society's Board of Governors, Takhellambam Sanajaoba, said the school was established to provide a strong education system in Manipur so that students need not go outside the state for quality learning.

The aim, he said, is to mould every student into a responsible citizen.

Guest of honour T Brajakumar, Director, Directorate of Environment & Climate Change, Manipur, praised the school's clean, pollution-free campus and its focus on connecting students with the environment while imparting knowledge.

The programme also felicitated academic achievers.

In AISSE 2026, all 44 Class X students passed, recording a 100% pass rate.

In AISSCE 2026 Science, all 39 Class XII students also cleared the exam, achieving 100% results.
