Mega oral health camp held at Langathel benefits hundreds

Thoubal, November 23 2025: A one-day mega Oral Health Camp was organised today at Langathel Mantri, Thoubal district, organised by the District Health Society Thoubal under the National Oral Health Programme, NOHP.

The oral health camp was led by Dr L Robinson, District Nodal Officer of NOHP and Senior MO in-charge of CHC Yairipok.

Dr Robinson, along with his medical team, provided various dental treatment services to villagers and distributed essential medicines free of cost.

Speaking in this connection, DNO Dr L Robinson highlighted the rising cases of oral chronic diseases and oral cancers across India.

He stated that, following directives from the Central Ministries, such outreach health camps are being organised in regions where oral healthcare facilities are limited or unavailable.

He further assured that similar oral health camps will be organised at other locations across the district to ensure wider community benefit.
