Sainik School Imphal celebrates 53rd Annual Day

Imphal, December 20 2025: Sainik School Imphal celebrated its 53rd Annual Day with great zeal and enthusiasm on Saturday.

Key figures from defence, State Government, alumni, parents, and media attended the grand event to support the school's mission of nurturing patriotic citizens.

As per a release issued by Sainik School Imphal, the celebration commenced with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Justice A Guneshwor Sharma followed by the presentation of Principal's Annual Report, highlighting the academic, co-curricular and overall achievements of the school during the year.

Justice A Guneshwor Sharma gave away coveted trophies to winning houses including the prestigious Cock House Trophy presented to the Tagore House.

In his address, Justice Guneshwor congratulated the cadets on their achievements and lauded the efforts of the school in nurturing discipline, leadership and character among young students.

He praised the school for its salient role in nation building by producing many officers in the armed forces and other walks of life.

He encouraged the cadets to join legal services and proposed the Principal to establish a Legal Literacy Club in the school.

Justice Guneshwor further encouraged the cadets to uphold the values of integrity, dedication and service to the Nation.

Later, an enthralling variety entertainment programme was presented by the cadets showcasing their multifaceted talents and vibrant cultural spirit.

The Annual Day celebration concluded on a high note, marking another successful year in the illustrious journey of Sainik School Imphal.

As a part of the celebration, an impressive Arts & Science Exhibition was also organised in the school showcasing the creativity, innovation, and scientific temperament of its cadets.
