Bishnupur, September 20 2026: The month-long observance of Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026 which began on September 17 continues in Bishnupur district with various line departments undertaking activities from the different programme themes of the Abhiyan under the overall supervision of the District Administration, Bishnupur.

Under the Seva Setu Abhiyan, a free mega health camp was organized today for Bishnupur Assembly Constituency at Ningthoukhong organized by Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam.

More than 700 people availed healthcare services and medical consultations during the camp.

The Agriculture, Horticulture, Social Welfare and CAF & PD Departments also set up stalls at the venue, facilitating beneficiary enrolment, verification, documentation and applications for various government schemes and services.

On the launching day, the Seva Setu Abhiyan for Bishnupur Assembly Constituency was also organized at the Panchayat Resource Centre (PRC) Hall, Mini Secretariat Complex, Bishnupur.

More than 500 people participated in the programme and availed various benefits under different welfare schemes of the Government.

As a part of India of Dreams (Art Seva), an essay writing competition was held on September 19, across 71 schools of the district.

A total of 3,520 students participated in the competition at their respective schools, comprising 1,711 boys and 1,809 girls.

The competition, organized' under the guidance of the Zonal Education Office, Zone IV, Bishnupur, was conducted on the theme "My Vision of Viksit Manipur" .

As a part of the next phase of the programme, schoollevel painting and elocution competitions on the same theme will be organized on the upcoming Saturdays, September 26 and October 10, respectively.
