Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2025 launched in Thoubal

Thoubal, September 19 2025:
The month-long observance of Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2025 was launched on September 17 at Thoubal DC Complex.
The program was organised by the District Program Officer (DPO), ICDS Cell, Thoubal.
Launching the program, DPO Thoubal, Th Romita Devi highlighted the importance of health, hygiene and consumption of locally available vegetables.
She said the campaign aims to contribute to a Suposhit Bharat (well-nourished India) under Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2,0, emphasizing community engagement, nutrition education, and the use of technology such as the Poshan Tracker for better governance.
The launching function was attended by CDPO Lilong L Aruna Devi; Chief Medical Officer, Y Nokul Singh; DPM Ch Basanta Singh; District Family Welfare Officer, Dr Trusty; Special Programme Manager.
Okram Chitra; NCD; Supervisors; Inspectors; Officials and staff of ICDS Thoubal, and around 300 Anganwadi workers of Thoubal ICDS Project.
Rashtriya Poshan Maah, 2025, observed from September 17 to October 16 under Department of Social Welfare, Manipur, will focus on addressing obesity, mainstreaming gender issues, convergence and digitization, Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE), promotion of local food systems, and Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) .
