Five years of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan celebrated

Imphal, November 18 2025: The District Administration, Imphal East led by the Deputy Commissioner Dr Nivedita Lairenlakpam observed the Nation-wide celebration of five years of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan at the conference hall of the DC Office Complex, Porompat.

As per a press release, the function was attended by all officers and officials of the Office of Deputy Commissioner, Imphal East and District Social Welfare Officer, Imphal East.

The function was also organized at various schools/colleges/SHGs/Anganwadi Centres/Child Care Institutes etc of Imphal East District.

School students took out a rally from the Office of Zonal Education Officer, Zone II to the Office Complex of DC, Imphal East.

Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan Pledge led by DC, Imphal East was taken by all officers and officials at the same time in tandem with the pledge taken during the National programme.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks from the DC .
