Indian Army facilitates employment for Manipur's youth

Imphal, September 18 2025: Tronglaobi village in Bishnupur district witnessed a proud moment as four youths secured employment with Licious in Bengaluru, thanks to the initiative of the 2nd Battalion, Jammu & Kashmir Light Infantry (Sherwani), under 59 Mountain Brigade.

With the active support of Lt Col KN Singh (Retd), virtual interviews were conducted in the village, ensuring a smooth and accessible selection process for the candidates.

The selected youths are set to join their new roles with assured salaries, free accomodation, and other benefits.

Significantly, Licious has also shown interest in employing 30-40 more youths from the region - a move that promises brighter opportufiities for Manipur's younger generation.
