Pensioner's Union holds meeting, elects new office bearers

Thoubal, May 18 2025: The general council meeting of Thoubal District State Pensioners' Union was convened today at Thoubal Awangleikai Community Hall to deliberate on the issues pertaining to difficulties and concerns face by pensioners The meeting also resolves to elect new office bearers of the Union, wherein Binodkumar Likmabam was elected as the president, Mutum Nabachandra as general secretary, Longjam Mohon as secretary organisation, Khagembam Ibohal as secretary publicity, Meinam Ibungo as secretary administration and Laishram Yaikul as treasurer The newly elected president of the Union Likmabam Binod said that all process have been initiated to register and affiliate under Manipur State Pensioners' Union.

He also stated that the Union will extend support and take active participation in any State issues.
