DMCTE holds Community Contact Programme

The Dhanamanjuri College of Teacher Education (DMCTE), Imphal, organised its Annual Community Contact and Service Programme for the 2025-26 session today at the campus of Kebol High School in Tera Keithel.
The event included a campus cleaning drive and a sensitization talk aimed at fostering community engagement.
The programme was graced by Dr Konika Khuraijam, Principal of DMCTE, as the chief guest, and Loitongbam Sarat Singh, Headmaster of Kebol High School, as the president.
In her address, Dr Konika emphasized that teachers have a significant role to play in society beyond classroom teaching, urging them to engage in community-level activities for societal improvement.
She appealed for collective effort to build a clean and developed society.
During the sensitization talks, Dr Konsam Pumachandra Singh, a faculty member at DMCTE, spoke on "Cyber Security and Digital Hygiene for Young Minds", while Dr N Nomika Devi discussed "Environmental Education: Water Scarcity and Management".
As part of the initiative, the school received various items for student use, including charts and indoor games equipment, to help maintain clean and organised classrooms.
