Imphal, October 14 2025: Shija Hospitals & Research Institute (SHRI) has successfully organised a two-day Free Eye Screening Camp on October 13 & 14, 2025, providing comprehensive eye care services to the public.

As per a release issued by Shija Hospitals and Research Institute (SHRI), the camp covered a wide range of ophthalmic specialties, including Glaucoma, Cornea, Retina, Squint, Ptosis, Cataract, Oculoplasty, Pediatric Ophthalmology, and Shija Opticals.

A total of 203 individuals were screened and 30 counseled for cataract surgery, 7 for Pterygium surgery, 2 eyelid surgeries, 1 Chalazion and Vitrectomy during the camp.

The initiative was part of Shija's ongoing efforts to promote early detection and management of eye diseases and to extend quality eye care to the community.

Moreover, a Free Breast & Thyroid Screening Camp was also conducted at Shija Hospitals in Langol today.
