Imphal, July 13 2024: The Uripok Apunba Lup (UAL) has expressed its heartfelt congratulation to Justice N Kotiswar Singh on being recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium for appointment as a Judge of the Apex Court.

In a release, UAL informed that Justice N Kotiswar is presently serving as the Chief Justice of the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court.

Following the recommendation of the Collegium.

Justice N Kotiswar will be creating history by becoming the first Judge from the State of Manipur to be appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court.

Justice N Kotiswar is the son of Late Justice N Ibotombi Singh and Nongmeikappam Ongbi Gomti Devi from Uripok Tourangbam Leikai.
