Haemophilia camp conducted

Imphal, July 10 2025:
In a dedicated effort to support Haemophilia patients, Intas Foundation, Imphal organised a "1-Day Physiotherapy, Factor Distribution & Awareness Camp" under the Haemophilia Patient Assistant Program (HPAP) at the Department of Medicine, JNIMS, Porompat today.
As per a release issued by Intas Foundation, the camp aimed to provide comprehensive care, free medical support, and awareness for patients and caregivers.
A physiotherapy session led by Dr N Jugindro, PMR Department, JNIMS, focused on joint care, mobility improvement, and home-based techniques for haemophilia management.
Clotting Factor VIII was distributed free of cost to registered Haemophilia A patients, ensuring continuity of care and reducing treatment burden.
An awareness session conducted by Dr Irom Anil Singh, Department of Medicine, JNIMS, addressed early diagnosis, emergency management, and lifestyle tips.
The HPAP, an initiative by Intas Foundation, continues to empower haemophilia patients across India through education, medical aid, and rehabilitation support.
