Chandel, November 09 2025: The two-day Sports Meet of Maha Union Government Hr Secondary School, Chandel concluded today with a colourful closing ceremony marked by energetic student participation.

The valedictory function and prize distribution ceremony was attended by principal of Maha Union Govt Hr Sec School, principal KL Warson Anal; vice-principal P Sarju; child artist Khumlo Mohrintha; and Sports Committee, convenor TL Sweety Chiru, along with teachers and students of the institution.

Speaking on the occasion, principal KL Warson Anal stressed the need for youths to refrain from the growing misuse of illicit drugs and to uphold moral values.

He urged students to engage actively in sports to maintain physical fitness, discipline, and healthy lifestyle.

The closing event concluded with a vibrant cultural programme presented by the students, adding colour and enthusiasm to the closing ceremony of the annual sports meet.
