Imphal, July 05 2025: Kickstarting an initiative to extend aid to flood-affected people, the Imphal Naga Forum distributed relief items at Adimjati Shiksha Ashram, Chingmeirong this afternoon.

Speaking at the event, Ambition Anth, convenor, Imphal Naga Forum, said that the Forum was unable to provide assistance during the flood.

However, the initiative was launched to convey solidarity with the flood-affected families.

In the coming days, the aid initiative will reach Heingang, Ahallup, Nagaram, Heikrumakhong and Porompat.

Books, clothes and other essential items will be distributed to the flood victims, he said.

According to Ambition, a portion of the relief items were sponsored by Delhibased NGO Goonj.
