Ranbir Thouna announces 'Yelhoumi' comeback concert

Popular singer Ranbir Thouna is making a melodic return with "Yelhoumi", a programme presented by Tamna Sanggai Records and Classic Group of Hotels.
The announcement was made at a press conference and promotional video launch at Hotel Imphal today.
Themed "Yakairashi Yakairo Yelhoumi", the event aims to promote love and unity among different indigenous communities through music and culture.
The event is scheduled for May 6, at the Archery ground, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.
Project convenor Mongjam Joy stated that Yelhoumi' aims to spread the message of living together in harmony, discarding differences.
Ranbir Thouna, returning after a break since 2017, called "Yelhoumi" his rebirth, featuring 30 songs with 27 musicians from various bands.
"This shows an artist can die as an artist", he said, addressing how Manipur's performers often fade postfame.
His 1996 debut album "The Crying Woman" kicked off a patriotic journey; now, he seeks to deliver a unity message beyond entertainment.
Officials unveiled the stage design, poster, and promotional video during the meet.
