Special outreach programme on "Nari Shakti & Viksit Bharat@2047" held at Khangshim village

A special outreach programme on the theme "Nari Shakti & Viksit Bharat@2047" was organised today at K Konshang Memorial Hall in Khangshim village.
The programme was jointly organised by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) Field Office Chandel, Imphal Region, under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, and Bhagirath Nata Sankirtan.
The event was attended by CBC Chandel, Field Officer Matthew SK Bengam; Khangshim village chairman Angshem Tontang; and All Tribal Women Organisation, Chandel, president Moikham Ronglo as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, Lamkang Naga Kver Kumpun (LNNK) Chandel, secretary Lv Paul Thamsen said that as India approaches 100 years of Independence in 2047, empowering women and promoting youth participation are essential to building a progressive and self-sustainable nation.
He stressed the need to enhance productivity and ensure inclusive growth, particularly by encouraging women to take active roles in various sectors.
As part of the programme, a quiz competition, cultural performances by the S&DD PRTs Bhagirath Nata Sankirtan group, and a street play were presented, drawing appreciation from the audience.
The outreach programme witnessed active participation from the youth and women of Khangshim village.
