Kakching, May 30 2026:
In a significant boost to the Yes-SHE (Sundays and Holidays for Environment) campaign spearheaded by the Alliance for Development Alternatives-Manipur (ADAM), Kakching, Conservator and Special Secretary (Forest & Environment), RK Amarjit, IFS, on Saturday handed over 50 Yes-SHE promotional T-shirts sponsored by the Thoubal Forest Division.
The T-shirts were formally handed over to ADAM Kakching secretary Surjit Kshetrimayum at the Range Forest Office, Kakching, as a gesture of solidarity and support for the ongoing environmental conservation initiative.
According to a release issued by ADAM Kakching, the T-shirts will be distributed to volunteers actively engaged in tree plantation and nurturing activities, as well as those regularly participating in the Sunday Eco Club programmes conducted at Angaan Ching Eco Park every Sunday.
The Yes-SHE campaign encourages citizens to devote at least two hours every week, particularly on Sundays and holidays, towards environmental conservation and ecological preservation beyond their immediate surroundings.
ADAM Kakching expressed its gratitude to RK Amaijit for extending support to the initiative and further lauded his assurance that an additional 50 Yes-SHE promotional T-shirts would be sponsored personally by him to strengthen the campaign.
