Imphal, August 29 2025: The Bar Council of Manipur has notified that Md Wahidur Rahman, Advocate bearing Enrolment No 843/2000-2001 who was enrolled as an Advocate on February 15, 2001 in the Bar Council of Assam, Nagaland, etc and has been practicing as an Advocate in the State of Manipur, has been debarred from practicing as an Advocate in all Courts and Tribunal including the High Court in the State of Manipur with immediate effect until further notification under Rule 1, Part-VI, Chapter-III of the Bar Council of India Rules.

In a release, the Bar Council of Manipur stated that Md Wahidur Rahman has been debarred in pursuance of Misc Resolution No 1 of the meeting of the Bar Council of Manipur held on July 26, 2025 .
