Imphal, December 26 2025: Ibudhou Pureiromba Khubamlen Ahanba in collaboration with Bamon Kamou Apunba VLF and Pureiromba Y outh Club (PYC) organiseda"DistributionofAids and Assistive Devices under AIDP & RVY Scheme" programme at PYC Community Hall in Bamon Kampu.

The programme was conducted under the aegis of CRCSRE, Imphal; Pradhan Mantri Divyasha Kendra (PMDK), Imphal; Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) and Social Welfare Department, Government of Manipur.

The event was graced by dignitaries, including Dr David Elangbam, Director, Settlement & Land Records, Government of Manipur; Naoshekpam Khoibi, Director, CRCSRE, Takyel; Thiyam (o) Golrnei Kachungna, ex-Zilla Parishad Member, 12-Bamon Kampu; Thangjam Hemanta, Chairperson, Bamon Kampu Gram Panchayat; and Wayengbam Yaiskul, vice president, Ibudhou Pureiromba Khubamlen Ahanba.

During the programme, aids and assistive devices such as wheelchair, hearing aid, chair with commode, spinal support, walking stick, walking stick adjustable, knee brace, etc were distributed to over 200 senior citizens to help reduce disability effects and boost inclusion.

Meanwhile, Rural Upliftment Development Association (RUDA), Yumnam Khunou today distributed tree saplings to Lainingthou Puthiba Seva Committee, Yumnam Khunou.

The distribution programme was attended by M Inaomacha, Forester, Nongmaijing Forest Range; H Bijoy, Awang Shinglup; N Kirani, Lainingthou Puthiba Seva Committee; N Bikram, Makha Shinglup; H Bijenti.

WWAYK; and M Ebengshi, president, WSWAYK among others.
