Imphal, August 26 2025: The Ayang Palli Road Development Committee (APRDC) has urged the authorities concerned to initiate repair works of the Ayang Palli road which is in a deplorable condition.

Speaking to the media, APRDC convenor N Shantikumar said that the committee was constituted on August 24 after a public meeting was held to discuss the situation of the Ayang Palli road which leads to JNIMS from Khurai Lamlong Keithel.

He asserted that the road has become dangerous due to numerous potholes, cracks and uneven surface.

"Such dangerous conditions not only cause inconveniences to the drivers but also pose serious risks to the passengers", said Shantikumar while urging all heavy vehicles/ containers/trucks to refrain from plying on the road until repair works are done.

Voicing strong frustration over the deteriorating road condition, he urged the Government to initiate measures to repair the road without further delay for the safety and wellbeing of the people.

Shantikumar further warned of launching a series of intense agitation if the repair work is not initiated at the earliest.
