GPF 2.0 ushers in new era of digital services

Imphal, December 23 2025: The Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Manipur today launched the Online GPF Information System 2.0 (GPF 2.0) at 10:30 am.

As per a press release, the portal was jointly inaugurated by Athikho Chalai, Principal Accountant General (A&E), Manipur and M Binod Singh, State Informatics Officer, NIC Manipur.

O Tombi Singh, Director, IT (NIC), Manipur demonstrated the key features of the new system.

Officers from NIC, DIT and AG Office were present during the launch event.

According to M Binod Singh, GPF 2.0 reflects effective collaboration between the AG (A&E) Office, NIC, the State Finance Department, and the IT Department to deliver technology-driven services to Government employees.

Meanwhile, Athikho Chalai said the launch aligns with the C&AG of India's vision of end-to-end digital service delivery.

Worth mentioning among the features of version 2.0 are online access to GPF annual statements and GPF final payment authorities, with further expansion towards online submission of applications planned.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Th Shyamkumar Singh, Senior Accounts Officer.
