Turiim Jol felicitates civil service achiever RL Sharika Anal in Chandel

Chandel, May 19 2026: Turiim Jol (daughters), comprising the Bungsong, Tongsin, Sengul, Chaitung, Kowlchol and Ruwnglal clans, on Monday felicitated RL Sharika Anal for her outstanding achievement in the Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) Civil Service Examination,2022.The felicitation programme was held at Abungnikhu Baptist Church in Chandel district in honour of Sharika, daughter of RL Berang and Hb Shangjahring.

The event began with an opening prayer by Turiim Jol leader Ch Jolno, followed by a welcome address delivered by Bs Shanglum.

A special performance by RL Pelesun added colour to the programme, while Ts Pekham expressed words of gratitudes.

Speaking on the occasion, Shanka's father RL Berang expressed gratitude to Turiim Jol for recognising and honouring his daughter's achievement.

He also encouraged her to pursue greater heights by appearing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination in the future.

An alumnus of Army Public School, Delhi Cantonment, and Hindu College under Delhi University, Sharika is currently serving in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

Sharika shared the struggles and sacrifices her family underwent during her preparation for the MPSC examination.

She stated that her success was the result of collective family support, perseverance and hard work.

Encouraging students present at the programme, she urged them to place God first in their lives, remain committed to their goals and pursue their dreams with discipline, dedication and consistency.
