Moirang, July 18 2025: In an initiative to encourage academic excellence, meritorious students who passed the Class X and XII examinations conducted by BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE with 70% or more in first division were felicitated with cash award, memento and certificates at Irengbam Kangjeibung Community Hall today.

The programme was jointly organised by Khoriphaba Village Level Federation and Triple Nachom Village Level Federation under the initiative of Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) .

The felicitation ceremony was attended by Oinam AC MLA, I Nalini Devi; Irengbam Gram Panchayat chairperson I Gopen; Nambol Block In-charge Ksh Abhijeet Singh; Khoriphaba VLF president Th Robita Devi and Triple Nachom VLF president Th Babita as presidium members.

Speaking at the event, MLA I Nalini lauded the efforts of MSRLM in empowering women at the grassroots level and promoting self-sustainability.

She stated that such initiatives will significantly contribute to development in the rural areas.

She further emphasized the importance of encouraging the young students who have excelled in their academics, stating that "Rural women motivating students by recognising their achievements will go a long way in shaping a better society and guiding them on the right path" .
