Kwakta CSOs demand proper area demarcation

Bishnupur, May 17 2025: Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) of Kwakta have appealed to the relevant authorities including officials of SDO/SDC office to demarcate the land area under Kwakta Primary Health Centre.

The CSOs include AMPYA, AKTVO, ANJUMAN, Jamiyat Ulema and All Kwakta Coordinating Committee.

Speaking to the media at Kwakta PHC, representatives of the aforementioned CSOs claimed that residential houses have been constructed within the campus of Kwakta PHC.

Appeals made to SDO Moirang to monitor the issue fell on deaf ears.

He went on to claim that 0.045 acre of the PHC's land was recently found to be registered under one individual.

Expressing surprise over the matter, the CSOs have appealed for swift demarcation of the land area under the PHC .
