Prayer service for vehicle safety held in Senapati

Senapati, January 11 2026: Agape Prayer Fellowship with the motto "God With Us" organized a prayer programme for the safety of vehicles under the theme "Prayer for Safety" at the Lt Sanyi Dahrii Sports Complex, Khabung Karong Village, Senapati district on Sunday.

The programme was hosted by the Senapati Auto Association and sponsored by the Senapati District Motor Vehicle Owners' Association (SDMVOA) in collaboration with the Senapati Karong Area Baptist Union (SKABU) .

The program was led by Pastor D Wipibou Damai of Zeliangrong Baptist Church, Senapati.

The invocation prayer was offered by Pastor S Komuo of Mao Baptist Church, while the welcome address was delivered by L Moses Shonamai, president of SDMVOA.

An introduction and presentation were made by Kashing Chawang, Finance Secretary of SDMVOA.

A special song was presented by Shaziine Pao, followed by a vote of thanks proposed by PY Kadanba, Vice President of SDMVOA and benediction prayer was pronounced by Rev.Paul Inpui, Pastor of Taphou Namthan Baptist Church.

Rev K Daniel led a special prayer session for vehicle owners, drivers and helpers associated with Senapati Auto Association and SDMVOA.

Hundreds of participants from various walks of life attended the programme with their vehicles to receive blessings for safe travel in 2026 .
