South Angami calls indefinite NH 2 bandh

Reacting against hijacking of a DI Tata from Nagaland by four alleged persons from Manipur and demanding to arrest the culprits and award befitting punishment, locals of South Angami have called an indefinite bandh along NH 2 from midnight today.
According to sources, four Manipuris, who came in a car hired the DI Tata on June 21 and took it to Manipur.
Upon reaching Maram, they drank cold drink in a hotel.
However, the cold drink given to the driver was drugged.
While the driver was lying unconscious in the hotel, the four persons went away with the DI Tata.
Later on, police recovered the DI Tata from Wangoi area on June 24 .
Meanwhile, a Bolero belonging to MLA Z Kikhonbou Newmai, which was stolen from near Sky Hospital at Chingmeirong yesterday was reportedly found in Nagaland by Senapati Police today.
