Legal awareness programme held at Thoubal College

Thoubal, January 05 2026: The Earth Care Foundation, Kiyam Siphai, in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Thoubal, organised a one-day legal awareness programme along with a tree plantation drive at Thoubal College on Monday.

The programme held under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA), was attended by Principal of Thoubal College, Professor A Nabachandra as chief guest; Head of Physics Department and Thoubal College Teachers' Association president Dr N Ibobi as functional president; and IQAC coordinator Dr L Akendra Singh as guest of honour.

During the programme, panel lawyer of DLSA Thoubal, Khoisnam Lembisana Meidingu, delivered a talk on the topic "Free Legal Aid", while retired Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) in Agronomy from KVK Thoubal, N Tomba, spoke on "Climate Change and its Impact" .
